🧰 Required Materials

To build the Recommended Shot Clock Stand, you’ll need a few reliable components — most of which can be sourced online or at a local hardware store.

DSS reccomends you get your components at either Lowe's or Home Depot. All of these parts can be gotten in one quick trip to your local store.

Below is a breakdown with convenient links to popular retailers for these components:


🔩 ¾" Coupling Fitting

A short threaded connector used to link the two pipes together.

🧱 2x 36" ¾" Steel Pipes (Threaded at Both Ends)

Steel pipe to ensure the stability of the stand.

Two of these pipes are required per stand.

Threaded at both ends is required for connection to base, adapter, and coupler.


🏋️ Umbrella Weighted Base

A heavy base that keeps the stand upright and stable.

🖨️ 3D Printed TPU Adapter

A small adapter that ensures a secure and snug connection between the pipe and the umbrella weighted base. We offer various size iterations to fit various bases.

Print Settings

We recommend 95A TPU Filament. You can find what we used here, but any brand will work.

Print orientation: Flat on the larger circle side
